Bob Cameron sings bass for Chordsmith.  He was born in Swiss, West Virginia, and raised in West Virginia and Ohio. He was exposed to gospel music at a very early age. His mother and father sang in organized quartets in Ohio and West Virginia. Bob started singing with his parent's groups at around six or seven. At that time he sang soprano or alto. At the age of sixteen his voice began to change to the bass range. He has sung in many quartets over the years, both full time and part time. Bob feels that singing in a quartet is what the Lord wants him to do since he was saved in a small Baptist church in West Cleveland at a Saturday evening song service. Bob currently lives in Shreveport, Louisiana with his wonderful granddaughter Kelsey Cameron and his wife Pamela Cameron who he calls the best friend or mate that God could bestow on any man.
